Heroes of Newerth (HoN), a popular game in the Dota genre created by independent game developer S2 Games, will be added to the professional eSports League North American Star League (NASL) starting October 5, 2011 for NASL Season 2.
North American Star League is a small American league that mainly caters to the Starcraft 2 crowd.

The selected teams are compiled of some of the top players in the world and we can't wait to see what they do when pitted against each other."Eight random Heroes of Newerth teams have been invited to compete for the 1st HoN NASL season. HoN teams will face off in 5 v 5 matches for 1,000 US Dollars per match.
