The CAL (Cyberathlete Amateur League) has been relaunched and Heroes of Newerth is the name of the game.
This will be a North American online tournament for Heroes of Newerth (HoN) in conjunction with the launch of the new Caleague.com (CAL).
According to Marc DeForest (CEO and Founder of S2 Games):

That makes HoN the perfect title for the re-launch and we are very happy that they chose HoN to be the first league showcased."
Registration period: September 1 - September 29, 2010
Number of HoN teams allowed: 128 Heroes of Newerth teams
Event: 5v5 (Forests of Calvadar - DotA standard map)
Prize:
*Hotel and Airfare to the DreamHack 2010 winter event.
*Play against seven other international teams for $15,000 in cash and prizes!
DreamHack Winter 2010 takes place November 25-28 in Sweden.
